Assign Rigid Diaphragm for Lightweight Sloping Slab in ETABS

This tutorial shows how to assign rigid diaphragm for lightweight sloping slab in ETABS for seismic analysis.  If you have tried to assign the rigid diaphragm to this type of slab, the program does not grow well this assignment because the center of mass (with eccentricity of each norm) can not receive forces that are not contained in the plane (horizontal). If you recall, the rigid diaphragm interacts with other nodes (it should be noted that the above are the knots that are contained in the horizontal plane) so that the movement of each node depends on the movement of the center of mass. Therefore this video tutorial shows right steps to over come above issues and assign a rigid diaphragm for sloping slab.
